This morning Dr. Ross Donaldson told us about his new memoir, The Lassa Ward. The book follows Dr. Donaldson's trip to Sierra Leone, where he researched the deadly but obscure Lassa Virus. He got more than he bargained for when the world's leading-and almost only-expert on the disease became ill halfway across the country, leaving Donaldson to head up his impoverished village clinic.

Dr. Ross Donaldson is hosting a book event on Tuesday, May 19th at 7:00 p.m. at the Barnes & Noble in Roseville.
