Author Jan Dunlap combines birders and murders in her fast-paced and witty first Birder Murder mystery, The Boreal Owl Murder. Set in familiar Minnesota locales, the book introduces readers to Bob White, an avid birder who turns into a reluctant sleuth when he stumbles across a frozen body while searching for an elusive bird.

Jan has two upcoming book events--Saturday, Nov. 8, noon to 2pm at Once Upon A Crime, Minneapolis and Saturday, Nov. 15, 11am to 12:30 pm at Chanhassen Library, Chanhassen.
