Axel?s Walleye Recipe
| | Ingredients | Recipes Home Make Printer Friendly | Ingredients for the Butter 2 tbl of butter .5 tsp of shallots .5 tsp of chives .5 tsp of roasted red peppers .5 tsp of cayenne pepper .25 tsp of granulated garlic Add all ingredients together and mix until well blended. Ingredients for Walleye 2 8 oz filets of walleye 1/2 cup of Ritz crackers ground fine 1 tbl of slivered almonds
| | Preparation | Take a skillet put on medium heat and add 1 tablespoon of butter to a warm pan. Place walleye filet in ground breadcrumbs to coat evenly. Plece walleye filet in hot skillet skin side up. Cook for 4-5 minutes till starts tail to curl. Flip walleye cook for additional 3-4 minute till golden brown. Top with 1 tablespoon Axel?s walleye butter and toasted almonds. Serve potato and veggies.
