B L & Roasted T Pizza
| | Ingredients | Recipes Home Make Printer Friendly | 1 cup mayonnaise 2 teaspoons Gourmet Garden Basil Blend 1 teaspoon Gourmet Garden Garlic Blend 1 teaspoon sea salt 1/2 teaspoon freshly ground pepper 4 Mama Mary?s 7 inch pizza crusts 8 ounces Fontal cheese (Italian Fontina), thinly sliced 1 pound Neuske?s Bacon, diced, cooked, drained 2 pounds roasted plum tomato slices (see Roasted Tomatoes Recipe) 1/2 cup shredded Parmesan cheese, divided 2.5 ounces Earthbound Farms® Baby Arugula Salad 1/2 cup sliced green onions
| | Preparation | Preheat oven to 400 F.
In mixing bowl whisk together mayonnaise, basil blend, garlic blend, sea salt and pepper; set aside.
Place pizza crusts on baking sheet. Spoon 2 tablespoons mayonnaise mixture over each crust. Divide Fontal cheese slices over mayonnaise. Bake 5 minutes or until cheese begins to melt. Remove from oven and sprinkle bacon over cheese. Arrange roasted tomato slices over bacon. Sprinkle ¼ cup of Parmesan cheese over. Return to oven and bake 5 minutes.
While pizza is baking, combine remaining mayonnaise with arugula, green onions and remaining Parmesan cheese. Remove pizza from oven and allow to sit 4 to 5 minutes. Spoon arugula in center of each pizza. Cut into wedges and serve immediately.
